Without research, palliative care is an art, not a science.

The National Palliative Care Research Center (NPCRC) is committed to stimulating, developing, and funding research directed at improving care for seriously ill patients and their families.

The NPCRC has collaborated with the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) in order to rapidly and directly translate its research findings into improved clinical care.
